How to Write a Poem

Poem

I’ve never been one

For punctuation in poetry

If you wanted spotless syntax

Or conventional commas

Go seek a novel

Intangible passion

Like microbes in erosion

Maybe it’s the immaturity in me

Naive stubbornness that rejects

The poet who cannot spell

Is one who writes in clouds

Gaseous nothingness

I see it
